Lesson 1- Measure Length
In this lesson you are going to be learning about measuring length.
Watch the video below, You will need the back of your maths book open and ready to answer the questions as you go along. When the lady asks you to have a go at something you will need to pause the video to have a go and then play it again when you are ready. Once you have watched and worked through the video you can then have go at the activity sheet in your maths book. Activity 1- Draw this table in your maths book.
Have a look around your house and choose 10 items that you estimate are shorter than 1 metre and 10 items that you estimate are longer than 1 metre. Write or draw these items into the correct column.
Once you have done your estimations use a measuring tape or a metre ruler to check and see if your estimations were correct.

Lesson 4- Equivalent lengths continued
In this lesson you are going to be continuing on your work on Equivalent lengths by diving into mastery.
There are 3 levels of understanding and questioning. I suggest that you start with level 2 and if it is too tricky have a go at level 1 and if you fancy more of a challenge give level 3 a go.
