Is it important to have a peaceful place?
For this session we want you to think about if you have a peaceful place that you can go to? Take a look at the picture below.
Can you create a peaceful place?
We know how difficult it can feel at home at the moment with everyone stuck at home together and no where to go and visit. This is why we think it is important this week to create a peaceful place of your own, somewhere that you can go to, to enjoy some time on your own.
We would like you to think about a peaceful place this doesn't need to be a big place, it could be a corner of your bedroom that you can tidy out, put some comfy cushions and a blanket in there. What's important is that you create a space for you!
There are some examples of peaceful places below.

Introducing the Reading Cafe!
Using your peaceful place we would like you to spend every Thursday afternoon, 1-1:30, chilling out with a good book and a drink of hot chocolate.
Once every couple of weeks we are going to check in with you all as a class in your peaceful place via teams to talk about the best book you have read whilst in your peaceful place. Here are some questions you could ask yourself or a grow-up could ask you about the books you are reading to help you to be able to give them a really good review after. Your first "Reading Cafe" teams Call will be with your class teacher on Thursday 11th Feb (Times will be arranged with each class) |
