Our Community
Here at the Rawcliffe Federation of Schools, we believe that the community is an important part of who we are. We know that our community can provide our children with other experiences that broaden the education beyond the classroom.
We love to get involved in local events! One of the highlights of the year is the Summer Fair.
This year the theme was 'Superheroes'. With the help of our PTA, and parent volunteers, we had great fun designing and decorating a superhero style Steam Road Roller.
We also had Rawcliffe Summer Fair King, Queen and Attendants - don't they look fabulous!
We are thankful to local businesses around us that have supported our schools.
THANK YOU TO CEPAC who have very kindly raised money for the schools. They have invited us in often to sell buns in their canteen to help raise funds for school.

They have also held a raffle in the school's honour. This has contributed towards our new kitchen tools such as scales, bowls, aprons and more.
We have been so lucky this year to have been donated a wonderful kitchen from Howdens. This has become our school DT kitchen. We are able to use this across the federation for specialised DT sessions.
A huge thank you to Croda for donating their time to come into our schools and giving them a fresh lick of paint. We have been really pleased with the outcome and appreciate all the time and effort it took.
We love to sing in the community we have done this at Christmas in both villages, at the light switch on, village shop and village fayre.
