Hello and Welcome to Class 3. We are a mixed Year 5 and 6 class at Rawcliffe Bridge Primary School. 

We have an exciting year ahead. For Year 6, the final chapter of primary school is one full of exciting opportunities, whilst for Year 5, moving up to Upper Key Stage 2, the children begin to take on additional responsibilities and to help others develop. The children will enjoy rewarding and challenging experiences, allowing everyone to shine in their own unique way. As well as supporting children to reach their academic potential, the children will gain more independence and be given many additional responsibilities around the school, including the opportunity to become House Captains, Sports Leaders and School Council Leaders. 

Miss Knight is also the Deputy Head, SENCO and DSL so on a Friday Mrs Littlwood-Wright teaches us. Mrs Gowthorpe works with us every day and Ms Durrant works with us on a Monday afternoon.

We regularly update our Class Dojo page - to share lots of information with our families each week - including curriculum newsletters, and to tell you about special events in class, in school and across the Federation.

A few things to note:

• Please send your child to school with a named water bottle each day.
• PE lessons are every Wednesday. 
• Please do label all of your child's clothing with their name, especially PE kit and jumpers!
