An Example Timetable!
Please find below an example timetable for you to use at home. I will edit it each week with the activities that I have set for the children. I would like to point out that this is not prescriptive it is an example, you know your children, you know what is best for your children if you feel they need to do things a different way around then do it your way :-) In school on a real day if I can see that the children need to have a break then that is what we do. We want you to enjoy this time with your children too!
Remember extra Dojo points for completeing these activities.

Handwriting
This week we are looking at the zigzag monster letters. These all have a diagonal stroke in them. You don't have your handwriting books but thats okay you need to imagine a line half way down. Parents might want to use a highlighter for the first few times to show them half way up. You do not need to print the sheet just write the letter in your books. Rewatch the video until you see how each letter is formed. The pencil does not leave the paper until the end. Remember to start each handwriting lesson with a fine motor activity like dough disco or threading pasta, then make sure you are sat correctly and holding your pencil correctly. Watch the video and then write it in your books. There are 3 videos for each session.

Computing - What can you trust online?
Today is Safer Internet Day! A day celebrated across the globe in over 170 countries, with thousands of children joining in across the UK. It’s a day when we celebrate all the great things about being online and remind ourselves how we can stay safe. There are lots of different ways that you can use the internet. This is also called going online. They both mean the same thing.
Can you list 3 different ways you can use the internet before moving on? What do you like to do online?
Heres some I have though of
This year for Safer Internet Day we are looking at information online, and whether we can trust everything that we read or see on the internet. Do you think that everything you see online is true, or do you think that there might be some things online that aren’t true?
Although there is lots of great information online that is useful and trustworthy, it’s important to remember that there is also information online that is not so trustworthy and may even be there to try and confuse us.
Click on the story below, about a duck called Digiduck who loves to go online. It’s called ‘Detective Digiduck’ and it’s all about using the internet to find things out.
