Inner peace is possible, and you don't need to meditate on a mountaintop or break the bank for a beach yoga retreat in order to find it. Carving out time to relax is wonderful, but it's amid the frantic pace of everyday life when we need serenity the most: After all, you don't live in a yoga retreat, you live in the real world. It is important for all of us, adults and children to take sometime in the week to find your inner peace.
Below there are some activities to help you find some 'you time'. Take some time out from our busy life's and relax for a while.

Yoga
Yoga can help reduce stress because it promotes relaxation, which is the natural opposite of stress. Yoga can benefit three aspects of ourselves that are often affected by stress: our body, mind, and breathing. You don't have to wait to feel stressed out to do yoga, and you shouldn't! People who do a little bit of yoga each day often find they're better able to handle things when life gets a little crazy. Practicing yoga builds your ability to calm, focus, balance, and relax yourself. Here is a selection of videos to help you get started. If you find a video that suits you or your child better, go onto their youtube channel to watch more of the type you enjoy.

Mindful Breathe Boards
A breathe board is a tool help students understand and practice mindful breathing in a more concrete and visual way.
Learners can use these Mindfulness Breathe Boards to start their mindfulness practice. Just have students follow their finger around the figure as they slowly breathe in and out. This should be completed several times. Download this Guide for more information.

Mindful colouring
Take some time to unwind and colour. You may want to use crayons, pencils, wax, paint? only using certian colours like shades of blue or bright colours or pastel colours. How ever you feel express it in your mindful colouring. You can even play some relaxing music.
If you don't have a printer to print these have a go at one of the videos below and have a go. The squiggle game is one of my favourites.
