The Federation of Rawcliffe Bridge and Rawcliffe Primary Schools Curriculum Statement

Be Kind. Be Inspired. Be You.

Our values underpin our curriculum. We provide a curriculum which promotes tolerance and celebration of difference. Our pupils are entitled to a balanced and broad curriculum which inspires. We engage our children through opportunities to: discover talents; explore the world around them; and support and learn from one another. At the heart of our schools, lies a dynamic, knowledge-rich curriculum that provides children with all the necessary skills and attributes needed to be successful learners and enabling them to leave primary education as well-rounded, confident individuals prepared for the modern world.

Our curriculum will be mainly thematic across all year groups, but with flexibility to add in freestanding learning opportunities. The curriculum framework is based on the 2014 National Curriculum document, which can be accessed here.
