As with last week, we've got 2 Math Salamander tests to do, choose a maths game from Top Marks to practice something you think you need some practice with.

Mental Maths
There are 2 Math Salamander tests to do this week and 2 arithmetic games to have a go with. Year 5s, if you want a challenge, try the Year 6 tests. Year 6s, if you're struggling a bit, give the Year 5 ones a go!

Monday  Mixed numbers to improper fractions. This follows on from our last lesson from before half term. If you find this tricky, don't worry because we'll be doing a little bit on this in Tuesday's Teams call.

This week we are going to move on to percentages.
Lesson 1 is recapping our understanding of percentages, have a go through the video you will need the back of your maths books so that you can practise as you go along. and then complete the worksheet. Thursday: Now let's see if you can round decimals remember the high 5 rule!
Wednesday: Now have a go at ordering and comparing decimals. Remember you read these left to right just like regular numbers!
Monday: Taking a step away from calculation, we will be looking a little deeper at decimals and place value to make sure you are really secure in this. If you double click on the video, these should maximise.

Thursday: Mental Maths & Mathletics. Your mental maths test should take 15 minutes. Why not set a timer and see how well you do?
Wednesday: Here are some problem solving and reasoning questions. Level 3 is an introduction to Long division with a video guide :)
Tuesday: Word problems. Have a go at each level of word problem relating to division skills. Remember to use magic 5! The answers are in the pack.
Monday: Choose a level and work through these independently. Remember to persevere and use the guidance to help you!
