Class Teacher: Mrs Pashley

Hello and Welcome to Class 1. We are a mixed Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 class at Rawcliffe Bridge Primary School. Although we 'belong' to one class, we organise ourselves into 2 groups from this main class - an Early Years Foundation group and a Year 1 and 2 group.

In our class we are on a journey to learn together. We are all inquisitive learners and love to explore through physical, 'hands on' experiences, whether that be learning how to play with our friends or investigating how shadows are created. We ask lots of questions to deepen our understanding. We have high expectations and a clear routine to help the children focused and actively learn. Class 1 know and make sure they are being respectful to one another and our equipment and we love using our manners to show how polite we can be. 

We regularly update our Class Dojo page - to share lots of information with our families each week - including curriculum newsletters, and to tell you about special events in class, in school and across the Federation.
